Janitorial Watch / MCTF

The MCTF is a California statewide watchdog organization whose mission is to abolish illegal and unfair business practices in the janitorial industry. We investigate allegations of employment law violations and partner with local, state, and federal enforcement agencies to hold unscrupulous contractors accountable.

We also work with elected officials, the media and the general public to expose widespread abuse that defines day-to-day business in the industry. At the same time, we work with responsible industry leaders and call on others to join us in promoting responsible business practices.

Since its inception in 1999, the MCTF has assisted in the collection of more than $26 million in unpaid wages for more than 5,000 janitors. Read more about us
